くねくね動く体を左右に揺らすすり抜ける
Definition
体を左右に素早く揺らす動き。ダンスや遊びでよく見られる。狭い場所をくねくねしながら通り抜ける時にも使う。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
「shimmying」はくだけた表現で、肩や腰を揺らして楽しく動く時によく使います。「shimmying through」はすり抜けて進むイメージ。フォーマルな文には使わないこと。
