소식 전하다알리다

Definition

누군가에게 알리거나 메시지를 전해 정보를 전달하는 것. 주로 정보나 요청을 전할 때 사용함.

조금은 형식적이고 옛스러운 표현이다. 주로 정보나 소식을 알려달라고 할 때 쓰며, 실물 전달에는 사용하지 않는다.

Please send word if you arrive early.

일찍 도착하면 꼭 **소식 전해줘**.

He promised to send word once he reached the city.

그는 도시에 도착하면 꼭 **알려준다고** 약속했다.

Someone will send word if plans change.

계획이 바뀌면 누군가가 **알려줄 거야**.
