何かがきちんと行われるように責任を持って確認する、または手配すること。

ややフォーマルな言い回しで、誰かに責任を持って進行や確認を依頼する際に使われる。自分が直接するのではなく、物事がきちんと行われるよう取り計らう時に使う。
