Definition

'scum' का बहुवचन। इसका उपयोग तरल की सतह पर बनने वाली गंदगी के लिए या बहुत बुरे, निकृष्ट लोगों के लिए अपशब्द के रूप में होता है।

किसी इंसान के लिए बोलना बहुत अपमानजनक और अशिष्ट है। द्रव के लिए आमतौर पर 'scum' (एकवचन) ही चलता है, 'scums' का प्रयोग बहुत विशेष संदर्भ या वैज्ञानिक अर्थ में हो सकता है।
