スカウ（平底船）

Definition

スカウとは、底が平らな船で、主に川や港、運河で荷物やゴミを運ぶために使われます。

「スカウ」は北米などの船舶専門用語や歴史的な文脈で使われます。日常会話で使うことはほとんどありません。不恰好な船に対して使われることもあります。
