Definition

특정 팀이나 사람을 위해 점수를 얻다, 주로 스포츠나 게임에서 사용됨. 때때로 누군가에게 유리하게 하다는 뜻으로도 쓰임.

주로 스포츠 맥락에서 사용. 'score for the team'은 '팀을 위해 득점하다'라는 뜻. 'score against'와 혼동하지 않기! 드물게 비유적으로도 사용.
