誰かが素早く、滑るように動くこと。特に座ったままやしゃがんだまま、遊び心のある動きに使われます。

カジュアルで子供や動物によく使います。'scooted over'や'scooted away'のように使うことが多いです。フォーマルな文章には使いません。「scout」や「shoot」と混同しないようにしましょう。
