Definition

小さな子供や動物のように、軽やかに素早く小さな足取りで動き回ることを指します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に子供や小動物が楽しそうに動き回る時に使います。大人やスポーツ・緊急時には使いません。「scampering across the floor」「children scampering」などと使われます。
