バーやレストランで、注文ごとに支払うのではなく、最後にまとめて支払うためにツケにしておくこと。

主にアメリカのバーやカジュアルなレストランで使われる表現。「Can I run a tab?」と頼む。'run up a bill'（たくさんお金を使う）とは意味が違うので注意。
