Definition

크림이나 오일 등과 같은 것을 손이나 손가락으로 피부나 천에 문질러 잘 흡수되거나 잘 퍼지게 바르는 것.

Usage Notes (Korean)

주로 크림, 오일, 약 등을 피부나 천에 바를 때 사용됨. 딱딱한 것엔 사용하지 않음. 'rub it in'처럼 기분 나쁜 일을 계속 들추는 의미로도 쓰임.
