Definition

クリームや液体などを、手や指で円を描くようにして肌や布にすりこんでなじませること。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主にクリームやオイルなどを塗るときに使い、「rub oil into your hair」のような使い方をする。硬いものには使わない。「rub it in」はイヤなことを何度も言って気にさせる意味でも使う。
