কাউকে সঙ্গে একই ঘরে থাকা, বিশেষ করে হাসপাতালে নবজাতক ও মায়ের জন্য।

বেশিরভাগ সময় হাসপাতালে মা ও শিশুর জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়। হোটেল বা সাধারণ ক্ষেত্রে প্রযোজ্য নয়। 'rooming-in' নীতি হিসাবে প্রচলিত।
