Definition

何かの上に転がる、あるいは体を回転させて上に移動する動作のこと。通常、なめらかに動く時に使う。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に身体やボールなどが表面の上に移動する時に使う。例えば「roll onto the bed」「roll onto one’s side」など。車や乗り物には使わない。
