Definition

亀裂とは、岩や氷などにできる大きなひびや割れ目のことで、人間関係などでの深い不和や分裂も表します。

日常会話よりややフォーマルで、主に大きな裂け目や深い人間関係の不和を指します。小さなけんかには使いません。「deep rift」「repair a rift」などの表現でよく使われます。
