Quando algo (como uma bala ou bola) atinge uma superfície e salta em outra direção. Também pode se referir ao movimento de rebote em si.

Geralmente usado com balas, projéteis ou objetos duros que batem e saltam. 'A bala ricocheteou', 'som de ricochete'. É um termo mais técnico, raro para saltos suaves.
