Definition

'remote' का बहुवचन, आमतौर पर उन डिवाइसों को कहा जाता है जिनसे दूर से टीवी, एसी आदि इलेक्ट्रॉनिक डिवाइसेज़ कंट्रोल की जाती हैं।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

'Remotes' अधिकतर टीवी, एसी आदि के रिमोट्स के लिए ही बोला जाता है, दूरस्थ जगहों के लिए नहीं (उसके लिए 'remote places' कहते हैं)। आम वाक्यांश: 'रिमोट्स खो गए', 'घर के सारे रिमोट्स', 'अलग-अलग रिमोट्स'।
