お互いに非難し合うことを指し、特に議論や争いで双方が相手を責める場合に使われます。

フォーマルな場面や法的・外交的な議論で使われることが多いです。単なる「責める」よりも、双方の激しい非難のやり取りに使います。「mutual recriminations」は「お互いの非難の応酬」という意味です。
