Bir şeyi tekrar oluşturmak ya da eski haline getirmek, genellikle kuru bir maddeye sıvı ekleyerek veya parçaları birleştirerek olmaz.

Genellikle teknik ve resmi ortamlarda (gıda, tıp, bilim, hukuk) kullanılır. 'Reconstitute milk' veya 'reconstitute a committee' gibi ifadelerde geçer; gündelik onarım için uygun değildir.
