권위나 규칙에 반대해 행동하거나, 명령이나 기대에 따르지 않는 것.

Usage Notes (Korean)

주로 10대나 집단이 통제에 저항할 때 쓴다. 반복적, 지속적인 행동을 의미한다. 'rebelling against parents', 'rebelling against the system' 등과 함께 쓴다. 'revolution'(혁명)과는 의미가 다르다. 다소 격식있거나 문어체 느낌.
