指有明确目标、需要一段时间完成的计划性工作或活动，如学校作业、商业任务或建筑工程。适用于任何需要有组织努力的事情。

通常为可数名词，如“一个项目”、“多个项目”。可指学业、商业、创意或社区活动。不等同于“projections”（预测、估算）。在美国英语里，“the projects”也指廉租房区域，是另一意思。

We have two big projects at school this year.
