監督者は、試験中に不正行為が行われないように学生を見守り、規則が守られているか確認する人です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

'監督者'や'試験監督'はアカデミックや試験の場面で使われる正式な言葉です。日常会話ではあまり使いません。'exam proctor'は'試験監督'、'to proctor an exam'は'試験監督をする'と表現できます。
