物や場所などを、今よりもっときれいに見えるように飾ったり整えたりすること。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「きれいにする」は物や場所、見た目のちょっとした工夫や飾りに使うことが多いです。「きれいに飾る」「自分をきれいにする」などカジュアルな表現です。深い変化には使いません。
