Bu deyim ABD'nin kentsel ve hip-hop kültüründe, gayri resmi ve hafif argo anlamda kullanılır. Gerçekten içki dökmek ya da sadece laf arasında söylenebilir: "Let's pour one out for...". Sadece "pour out" (tamamen dökmek) ile karıştırmayın.
