Cẩn thận đổ chất lỏng ra khỏi một vật chứa, thường để loại bỏ nó hoặc tách khỏi vật rắn bên trong.

'pour off' thường dùng khi muốn tách chất lỏng khỏi chất rắn, ví dụ như đổ nước luộc rau. Không dùng để rót đồ uống vào cốc. Phổ biến trong nấu ăn, dọn dẹp, thí nghiệm.
