Definition

特に動物が、まるで飛びかかる準備をしているかのように、軽やかに突然跳ね回る様子を表します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に猫や子犬などの遊び好きな動物に使われます。人に使うことは少なく、子どものような元気な動きの場合に使われます。「小さな」「子猫」「子犬」などの形容詞と一緒によく使います。
