ポーチとは、家の入り口や側面にある屋根付きのスペースで、外の天気から守られながら座ったりくつろいだりできる場所です。

「ポーチ」は主にアメリカ的な家屋に見られる屋根付きの外スペースです。「バルコニー」や「デッキ」とは異なり、地面に面していることが多いです。「フロントポーチ」などの言い方に注意。
