用手指或物體反覆輕輕觸碰、推動某物或某人。有時也指用戲謔或間接的方式批評某人。

多用於非正式場合，尤其用於形容喫飯時只撥動食物而不喫（'poke at your food'），或作為輕微動作或玩笑。也可指輕微批評。不要和'poke'（戳）或'poke fun at'（取笑）混淆。
