気軽に、または好奇心からあちこち探すこと。特に、見えにくいものを探すときに使う。

カジュアルな表現。興味本位や軽く探る感じがあり、徹底的な捜索ではなく軽い感じを含む。 'in' や 'around' とともに使われることが多い。
