어떤 것에 갑자기 뛰어들거나, 보통 물에 들어가거나, 활동이나 상황에 적극적으로 몰두하는 것.

직접적으로(물에 들어감) 또는 비유적으로(일이나 대화 등 적극적으로 시작함) 사용할 수 있습니다. 'plunge into work'는 일에 몰두한다는 뜻입니다. 천천히 하는 일에는 쓰지 않습니다.
