“Plied” 是 “ply” 的過去式：指（船隻、車輛）定期往返於一條路線，或不斷從事某項工作或行業。

“Plied” 較為正式，多用於描述船隻、公交等反復在指定路線行駛，也用來指持續做某種工作。日常口語很少用。
