مصطلح قانوني رسمي يستخدم عادةً في سياق المحاكم أو الشرطة. يتبعه دومًا نوع التهمة: 'plead guilty to theft'. لا تخلط بينه وبين 'admit' الأقل رسمية؛ هنا يتعلق الأمر باعتراف قانوني أمام المحكمة.
