〜としてプレイする〜の役をやる

Definition

ゲームや映画、演劇などで特定のキャラクターや役割を担当したり演じたりすること。

ゲームでどのキャラクターを操作するか、演劇や映画でどの役を演じるかを言うときによく使われます（例:『Marioとしてプレイする』）。『play』や『play with』とは意味が異なります。後ろにはキャラクター名や役名が続きます。
