Definition
パイプラインは、液体やガスを長距離輸送するための長いパイプのシステムです。また、物事や情報が段階的に進む一連の作業工程も指します。

油やガスの輸送によく使います。ビジネスやIT分野では「プロジェクトパイプライン」「営業パイプライン」など、一連の作業手順の意味で使われます。家庭用の配管には通常使いません。
