Definition
Bir şeyi (biber, nesne ya da soru gibi) tekrar tekrar veya birçok yere serpmek anlamına gelir. Ayrıca kısa sürede ardı ardına çokça soru sormak için de kullanılır.

Kelime hem gerçek (ör: biber serpme), hem de mecaz (çok soru sorma) anlamında kullanılabilir. 'peppering someone with questions' birini soru yağmuruna tutmak demektir.
