어떤 것의 한쪽에서 다른 쪽으로 이동하거나, 어떤 상태나 상황을 겪고 지나가는 것.

장소를 실제로 통과할 때와, 경험이나 힘든 시기를 겪고 넘어설 때 모두 사용함. '터널을 지나가다', '힘든 시기를 겪다' 등 문맥에 따라 다름.

We will pass through three cities on our trip.
