কাউকে অথবা কিছু অন্য ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুর মতো বলে বা দেখে কাউকে ভুল বোঝাতে চেষ্টা করা।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'pass off as' সাধারণত প্রতারণা বা ঠকানোর প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহার হয়। 'pass [someone/something] off as [another]' গঠনে বেশি দেখা যায়। 'pass by' বা 'pass out' এর সাথে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
