パーレイは、複数の賭けを組み合わせて一つにまとめる方式、または小さい成功を工夫でより大きなものへ発展させることです。

ギャンブル用語としてやや専門的ですが、ビジネスや日常会話でも比喩的に使われます。「parlays his skills」は、スキルを生かして新しい道を切り開くという意味です。
