Birinin gizlice para veya ödül (genellikle rüşvet) alıp, karşılığında yasa dışı veya etik olmayan işler yapması.

Daha çok polis, siyasetçi veya kamu görevlilerinin gizli rüşvet alması durumunda gayriresmî olarak kullanılır. Açıkça hırsızlık yapanlar için kullanılmaz.
