En una vía pública afuera, o a veces sin hogar o refugio. También puede significar que algo está disponible para todos o sucede entre la gente común.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Se usa literalmente (afuera, en la vía) y también figuradamente (alguien sin hogar: 'vive en la calle'). En expresiones como 'el rumor en la calle'. No se refiere a calles interiores o centros comerciales.
