'on average' এর মতই ব্যবহৃত হয়, কিছুটা বেশি আনুষ্ঠানিক; সাধারণত পরিসংখ্যান, প্রতিবেদন বা আনুষ্ঠানিক লেখায় ব্যবহার হয়; 'about'-এর অর্থে ব্যবহার হয় না।
