労働者の集団が給料や労働条件の改善などを求めて仕事を拒否する抗議行動のこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

通常は「ストライキをする」「ストライキ中」「スト中」の形で使われます。労働組合や労働者の抗議行動に使い、スポーツや「打つ」意味では使いません。
