Definition

ある物を買う・売る時に提示される金額や、特定の目的でなされる提案のこと。

主にビジネスや売買、交渉で用いられます。「make an offer for」や「accept an offer for」の形が多いです。手助けの場合は「offer to」を使います。

We made an offer for the house.

私たちはその家に**オファー**を出しました。

She received an offer for her car.

彼女は自分の車に**オファー**をもらった。

The company made an offer for the land.
