Definition

『いや』や『ない』は、カジュアルな場面で使う、強調した否定や不信感を表現するスラングです。

とてもカジュアルで、関西弁や若者言葉にも近い表現です。フォーマルな場面では使いません。語尾を伸ばして使うことが多いです。

Naa, I don't want to go outside today.

**いや**、今日は外に出たくないな。

Did you eat the last cookie? Naa, it wasn't me.

最後のクッキー食べたの？ **いや**、僕じゃないよ。
