泥や汚れですっかり汚れている様子。物理的な汚れにも、気持ちが悪い状態にも使われる。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
日常会話でよく使い、大きく汚れているときに使う。ちょっとした散らかりには使わず、「mucky boots」のような強い汚れに使う。嫌な作業にも使われる。
