Fixar ou prender algo numa superfície ou objeto, para que fique seguro no lugar.

Costuma ser usado com objetos ou equipamentos ('mount the TV on the wall'). Mais formal que 'colocar'. Não se usa para montar animais ('montar a cavalo').
