ऐसी जगह या उपकरण जहाँ जहाज़ को बाँधकर स्थिर रखा जाता है, या इस उद्देश्य के लिए उपयोग की जाने वाली रस्सियाँ और जंजीरें।

प्रमुख रूप से समुद्री संदर्भों में प्रयुक्त। इसका अर्थ जगह या उपकरण दोनों हो सकता है। 'mooring line' अार्थात जहाज़ बाँधने की रस्सी।
