Geralmente usado para crianças, animais de estimação ou máquinas com problemas ('the students were misbehaving', 'the computer is misbehaving'). É formal, não é gíria, mas pode soar leve. Não confundir com 'misbehave' (verbo base); 'misbehaving' é a forma '-ing'.
