Definition

진지하게 일하지 않고 장난이나 재미로 시간을 보내는 것, 또는 의미 없는 행동을 하는 것.

비격식적이고 주로 말할 때 쓰임. 'mess around with'는 무엇을 가지고 장난치거나 만지작거릴 때 쓴다. 공식적인 자리에서는 사용하지 않음.

Stop messing around and help me clean the room.

**장난치지** 말고 와서 방 청소 좀 도와줘.
