Definition

'ম্যানিলা' সাধারণত দরজা বা ড্রয়ারের হ্যান্ডেল বোঝায়। ইতিহাসে এটি পশ্চিম আফ্রিকায় ব্যবহৃত ধাতব ব্রেসলেট বা অলংকার অর্থেও পরিচিত।

আধুনিক কথোপকথনে 'হ্যান্ডেল' বেশি প্রচলিত; 'ম্যানিলা' মূলত নির্দিষ্ট ঐতিহাসিক প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'handle', 'door handle' বা 'drawer handle' শব্দের পরিবর্তে।
