予想より早く移動や到着ができること。道路状況や天候が良い時などに使う表現。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に移動や旅行で使い、体力的な競技やスポーツには使いません。「We made good time on the highway.」は順調に進んだという意味で、「have a good time」とは違います。
